With the overall NFT market in the doldrums,
the trend in recent months has been to lower prices and raise royalties to
encourage project teams to generate income from
maintaining relationships with the community rather than receiving a lump sum fee from the primary.
However, this trend is changing.
That is the trend toward 0% royalties.
Investors don't want to pay royalties when they sell NFTs.
So, there is a trend to trade NFTs in places where that royalty is not charged, i.e., outside of Opensea.
This means that NFT creators do not get paid.
How should creators handle this? Umm...
