I love this Artist - Chen Min
Chen Min is widely known in Japan as an erhu player.
Erhu is a Chinese stringed instrument that is played by rubbing two strings with a bow with hair on the tail of a horse.
It is also called the Chinese Fiddle (Chinese bowed string instrument) because of its tone.
Chen Min, who studied erhu at a music school in Shanghai, came to Japan in 1991 and started playing in Japan. Even now, she is energetically releasing CDs and performing concert tours, cooperating with music production of various TV programs such as Taiga Drama(Very famous Japanese TV drama), famous musicians such as Sarah Brightman, Tatsuya Ishii, Shinji Tanimura, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Czech Philharmonic Orchestra. If you live in Japan, you may have heard Chen Min's erhu tone without knowing it.
"I want to be a swallow"
This beautiful song has been sung by a Chinese female singer named "Li Guyi"
It seems to be an old song from the '70s but still fresh.
"Kiss of Wind"
"Kiss of Wind" is a song included in the album "My Story".
It is composed of this wonderful stringed instrument "Erhu" and songs made with a wonderful combination of traditional Western instruments such as piano, guitar, violin, cello, bass, and percussion. It truly bridges the gracefully between Eastern and Western music culture.
It's been almost 20 years since it was released in 2002, but it's still an album that I sometimes hear.
