Kettel is the artist name of Dutch-based musician Reimer H. Eising.

Kettel first came into contact with music after taking piano lessons at the age of five, and was influenced by electronic music such as Mouse on Mars when he was a teenager. And since he first released his own work in 2001, he has been active internationally as a DJ. He also makes soundtracks for TV commercials and works with Japanese companies such as Shiseido and Sharp.
