Self-study photographer Darren Moore uses a technique called "long exposure" with an ND filter to create painting-like black-and-white photographs.
The ND filter, also known as a "neutral density filter," is a lens filter that cuts the amount of light entering the lens and keeps the shutter open much longer than usual.
This makes it possible to create pictures with active movement even in the daytime.
His shutter speed is very long, from 30 seconds to 15 minutes, and this long exposure makes it possible to create pictures with a fantastic atmosphere.
