I love this Artist - Almah
Almah is a Brazilian metal band founded in 2006 as a side project by former Angra singer Edu Falaschi. In Portuguese and Spanish, the word Alma means soul. Since 2006, Almah has released five albums, changing from Edu Falaschi's solo project to a regular band.
For his first self-titled album, "Almah," Edu Falaschi composed all the songs and wrote all the lyrics. He played the acoustic guitar and keyboard himself and created all the arrangements for all the instruments, including the orchestration.
His debut album has been well received by many rock magazines and websites around the world.
He was rated as one of the best singers by the famous Japanese magazine Burn.
The second album "Fragile Equality" was released on JVC and Laser Company Records in Asia / Brazil and on October 17th on AFM Records in Europe / America / Canada. After Angra was inactive for two years in 2007, Edu Falaschi began to focus on Almah. I personally think this second album is a masterpiece!
I found the great guitarists Paulo Schroeber and Marcelo Barbosa from this band.
They show off a wonderful technique that is comparable to Angra's super guitarist KIKO.
(Marcelo Barbosa later became an Angra guitarist)
However, Paulo Schroeber passed away because of his worsening illness.
He was a really great guitarist.
I wished he lived longer.
They haven't released an album since 2016,
Edu Falaschi released a solo album under the name of Edu Falaschi in 2018.
The atmosphere is a masterpiece closer to Angra.
