I love this Artist - Tigran Hamasyan
Tigran Hamasyan is an Armenian jazz pianist. He plays piano since he was three years old and won in the 2006 Thelonious Monk International Jazz Piano Competition, he is strongly influenced by Armenian folklore and often uses its scales and styles. In addition to Tigran's folk influence, he is also influenced by jazz and progressive rock.
My favorite song "The Court Jester"
Hamasyan's piano, vocals that combine strength and softness.
The song is decorated with saxophone and repeats odd-time signatures, which is both powerful and ephemeral.
"Road Song"
"Road Song" is also a song that uses powerful changes and odd time signatures, but in my personal opinion, "Road Song" is a beautiful ballad. "The Court Jester" is a more rock feeling.
I think it's a song that praises the beauty of a ballad, which emphasizes the beauty of vocals.
He is a jazz pianist, but he often uses the Middle East / Southwest Asian scale during ad-lib, even when playing famous jazz masterpieces. His original performance may come from such an exotic background.
