I love this Artist - Anup Sastry

Anup Sastry is a drummer in Maryland, USA. Sastry made a name for himself in the early 2010s by playing drum covers for progressive metal artists such as Skyharbor and Vildhjarta. He currently plays support drums in various bands, and Sastry also writes his own music. He has programmed guitar and bass riffs and is playing the drums himself.

After releasing four instrumental EPs, he announced "Illuminate," which welcomed his first guest vocal this year.

His drum playing is very dynamic, progressive, groovy, and complex. And the balance between catchiness and complexity is amazing. On top of that, there are numerous layers of various programmed instruments. Bass, guitar, piano, and orchestration are all programmed by him. Listening to sampled music may seem like a "fake", but in his work, this rigid-feeling riff is a perfect match.

This is my favorite "GHOST" released in 2013.

Among them, my favorite is the last song of the EP "CRYSTAL".
