Buy house for Creating Art?

You want to buy a house for Creating Art?

This is a very important topic for artists.

You play music and create something, right?

Yeah, absolutely.

Because the artist needs space for creating.

However, is it a good strategy?

Now I live in NJ a place close to NYC.

Houses in NJ are cheaper than NY but still expensive.

Especially property tax.

If I buy a house, I have to pay more than $400 for it every month.

I was surprised by this because the property tax of my home town in Japan is

only around $60.

So if I buy a $300K house in NJ, I have to pay more than $2000 for it.

Plus need a car, another expense(Internet, insurance, maintenance)

Wow...

Maybe I have to earn $4000 every month at least but I can't save money with this income I guess.

Now, this is not standard but I can guess how the future is.

The house's price will be down when it becomes popular.

Furthermore, if I buy a house, I have Regulations.

I can't move anywhere, I have to stay there.

If I lose my job?

Now I can move to cheaper place.

If I have a house, I have to pay for fixed loan every month.

Maybe now I should wait and see how the market will be.
