I love this Artist - Lee McKinney

Lee McKinney is well known as a guitarist and composer of the progressive metal band "Born of Osiris".

Born in 1989 and raised in the northwestern suburbs of Chicago, Lee McKinney says he started playing the guitar at the age of 10 and was into practicing for up to 6-10 hours a day. He was initially strongly influenced by Eric Johnson, Dimebag Darrell, Steve Vai, Yngwie Malmsteen, and Joe Satriani.

Lee McKinney, who was an early member of the band "Born of Osiris" formed in 2003, signed a contract with Sumerian Records in 2007. He has been steadily building his career, finally released his debut album "Infinite Mind" in the spring of 2019 as a solo artist on a project separate from "Born of Osiris".
