I love this Artist - Bill Evans
Bill Evans is one of the big names that anyone who listens to jazz already knows.
Born in Plainfield, New Jersey in 1929, Bill Evans earned a bachelor's degree in composition from the University of Southeastern Louisiana.
Bill Evans lived a fulfilling life when he was a student, but after graduating, he was convened by the country and forced into military service.
After completing his military service, in 1955 he moved to New York, where he played with various players.
"Waltz For Debby" which sold best to People.
As usual, this is my favorite song.
"Young and Foolish"
I love this too.
Until I heard Bill Evans, I had a strong image of up-tempo or bright songs such as jazz.
His songs are a little decadent, and very calm to listen to.
Bill Evans died in a New York City hospital on September 15, 1980. The cause of death is a combination of factors such as liver cirrhosis, bronchopneumonia, and hepatitis caused by drug intake.
His friend Gene Lees described Evans's struggle with drugs as "the longest suicide ever."
