No regrets! MAC or Windows which one is best?
Today I would like to talk about my thinking.
Because I am considering replacing my PC.
The theme is "MAC or Windows which one is best?"
If you buy a new computer, you don't want to regret it, right?
It depends on what you want to do.
My conclusion is if you do programming, MAC is best because
it's easy to make the environment for programming.
Windows is the best.
Why?
Ok, let me talk about it.
1. It is unlikely that the software will become unusable due to updates.
This is my experience, but if the MAC is the latest OS, the software may not be usable.
I usually use design software because of my work, but at work, I use Adobe CC with MAC.
And I also use Adobe software in my private. CC is fine for use in the company, but CC still costs about $52.99 a month, so I still use CS6 in my private. And what I think is the most unpleasant thing about MAC is that CS6 cannot be used with the latest OS version of MAC.
Here is another thing. MT4, which is also used for Forex trading, often becomes unusable by updating to the latest OS version. There is no such trouble on Windows so far.
One more thing. It seems that you may not be able to use free music software. It seems that all 32-bit software can no longer be used with this MAC OS (Catalina) update.
2. Good cost performance
Windows has good cost performance. Since I sometimes use 3DCG software,
I like to buy a good graphic card for a PC, but if you customize it with the same specifications on MAC, the price will increase a lot.
There is also a lineup of PCs in the $300 to $500 range if you can use it as lightly like just browsing the internet.
The MAC has no lineup such a price range.
3, Expandable
Parts of Windows are relatively easy to replace, and you can also make your own.
Since all MACs are made in-house, there is not much hardware expandability.
But I love one point on MAC.
The design of MAC is certainly cool.
It's really amazing.
