I love this Artist - Milco
Milco is a solo project by Raymond Milco.
His first EP, "NERIMA," contains jazz-inspired chords, tapping, and technical Djent riffs. The EP is as short as about 20 minutes, but it is composed of intelligent composition and original ideas. Raymond Milco himself uses Ibanez's TAM10 (8-string guitar), which is the signature guitar of Animals as Leaders leader Tosin Abasi, and he uses a lot of slap, so it's probably a big influence form them.
The song is more catchy than Animals as Leaders' latest album.
Of course, Milco's skill is sick and the composition is also excellent.
The drum seems to use the software, and it seems that this EP was produced while he stayed in Japan. Nerima probably comes from that Nerima(Tokyo local area) where he was supposed to live. I don't know why he put the place name in his first EP, but his memories in Japan must have been special to him.
He is currently returning to his hometown of the United States.
