I love this Artist - Daniel Arsham

New York-based artist Daniel Arsham is an artist who reconstructs ancient sculptures.

He deliberately creates eroded areas of blue calcite by the famous sculptures
"Venus de Milo" and "Moses".

Daniel Arsham spent a year at the 200-year-old French studio "Réunion des Musées Nationaux", known for recreating iconic European works.

He scanned and collected the sculpture molds from the collection there.

He creates replicas of each piece with a wax-casting-like substance called hydrostone in order to create a nearly accurate replica.

He made his own work by adding crystals using blue calcite, quartz, rose quartz, etc.

Daniel Arsham describes the production process for this work as follows:

Creating a new sculptural body using ancient sculptures is like an experiment that creates a timeless symbol of a new era. The act of compressing time, referring to the past, and breathing life into the present is to reach a crystallized future.

Hmm, I'm not sure what it is...

In short, he wants to create futuristic works by modernizing past works as materials?

There is a tendency that a difficult statement will be cool sometimes in the Art world.

Sometimes I can't read the true meaning

Anyway, I love his artworks because that is truly beautiful.
