I love this Artist - Dirty Loops
Dirty Loops was formed in 2010 by Jonah Nilsson (vocals and piano), Henrik Linder (bass), and Aaron Mellergardh (drums) from the Royal College of Music, Sweden. At first, it seems that the band was not formed with the intention of "becoming a full-time artist!"
They covered the song "The Just Dance" by Lady Gaga with their own sounds. (This process will later be called "loopifying".) And, despite not much publicity, their covers have been viewed 100,000 times within two months of their announcement. They continued to cover famous pop songs, including Justin Bieber's Baby, Britney Spears's, attracting a lot of Internet attention. Eventually, they would establish a relationship with Canadian record producer David Foster to produce the first original single, "Hit Me."
Within the first 15 seconds of the song, a tight drum fill, high-quality yet powerful vocals, and an amazing bass fill burst. Just by listening to this part, you can understand the very high-performance technique of the band members. The song then proceeds in a groovy and fast-paced style as if influenced by the EDM that characterizes the band. From beginning to end, the performance and vocals are wonderfully tight.
"It Hurts" begins with a beautiful vocal chorus and then you can hear Nillson's emotional aspects and a beautiful voice.
"Take on the World" emphasized the soft side along with "It Hurts". It features a particularly beautiful combination of vocal melody and back keyboard arpeggio.
And "Work Shit Out" announced this year.
It starts with catchy vocals and groovy bass, and in the second half, they play a soft and mature piano.
You can get a glimpse of the depth of music in Dirty Loops.
